Companies created for the medical device and it’s fluid respectively. Designed and launched company websites and logos, contributing to the branding and online presence. Contributed to defining and refining innovative features to strengthen the device’s medical patent application. Assisted in trials at VUB, testing the fluid’s scattering properties under varying conditions to support clinical data requirements. Ensuring the device meets all the necessary safety and performance standards, from material safety to clinical testing, to obtain CE certification.
Developed a medical device from concept to a fully functional prototype, progressing initially from an Arduino-based design to a fully embedded system with a custom PCB. Programmed STM32F4 microcontrollers in C++ to control the device, incorporating a touchscreen interface, buzzer feedback, and a timer for the dosage. Designed a PCB in KiCad tailored to its application. Created the 3D-printed casings using Fusion 360.
