• Engaged with New Zealand government agencies and IT service providers to conduct certification and accreditation audits, risk assessments, cloud security reviews, security service certificates, and annual assurance reviews.
• Formulated risk mitigation strategies which include recommended security controls for various IT service providers and New Zealand government agencies by ensuring they meet the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM), ISO27011 and ISO27002, NIST, and PCI DSS.
• Communicate with business and technical clients both verbally and in written format
• Assisting a government ministry with improving their organisation's security posture to uplift their Protective Security Requirements (PSR). I have been partaking in working group sessions, developed PSR tracking report and provided weekly updates, gathering evidence, and provided recommendations on policies and business processes related to improving their security posture in accordance, such as security vetting, employee induction, and exit checklists, password management system policies, Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Security Officer’s role description, and access tool policies.
