Beego is a consultancy company I joined in October of 2022. They have indiviual projects for every employee, meaning that I handled all the projects on my own, this varies from helping individuals at home with their problems to working for large companies in Belgium to assist them with closing the digital gap.
After following a training and passing my entrance exam for ING with a perfect score of 100% (50/50 correct questions), I was offered a job as a digital assistant in both the Sint-Niklaas office and the Aalst office.
I commuted between these two cities while still being in school, working full or half days during the week.
My main task was to help customers who had an appointment with me with all their questions and problems concerning the new ING banking app. Later on in the job, I was also given the permission to help people on walk in questions about the ING internet banking system and I guided them towards a professional solution together with the team.

It supplies customised insurance and reinsurance solutions, guarantees, bonding and financing related to domestic and international trade transactions or investments abroad. It protects companies, banks and insurance undertakings against credit and political risks, and eases the financing of such transactions.
As a part of the Security and Compliance Team, my job is to make sure that our system stays safe and impenetrable. My day-to-day duties consist of management of possible phishing threats, I investigate every reported phishing threat and decide the corrective actions that should be used for every case. I lead meetings with different branch managers from all over Europe to discuss the user access and business roles for every branch, and I create custom Business Roles for the managers and all the employees under their command. I’ve also created a procedure that will be used by my colleagues to check and review the current Business Roles that I have created step by step, with the intention of speeding up the onboarding process for new employees that need the same access as previously mentioned colleagues in their department.
